How do I use the directory?

Simply type in your city, county and legal issue. Press Search and you will be redirected to the Verdict One results page. On the far right of each attorney's search result, you can find a details link in blue. Click on it to find out if there is more information about them.

Why are there no results for my search?

1. Typically, this is from how the county or the city is entered. First, please check how you entered your county. For example, for Cook County, the correct way to enter it is Cook, in the same fashion as the city. (Rather than "Cook County"). If you can't find your city, try your county.

2. Attorneys who are board certified are becoming more widely available, but are still not in all areas of the country. If you don't find one in your initial search by city or county, please check the nearest major city or county.

3. If you are looking for an injury attorney, please check under civil trial attorney.

Can you recommend a board certified attorney?

Every attorney in this directory meets the highest standards for their specialty. Sorry, we do not recommend individual attorneys. What if there is more than one board certified lawyers in your area? In that case, we suggest that you meet with at least two of the lawyers and decide which one you feel most comfortable with.
